I haven't posted in months, but I just felt like starting again now.

I changed back to my old blog skin. Yeah.

Christmas is coming!
We (me, Sarah, Rachel, Becky) went Christmas shopping yesterday! Although we didn't get many things. But Sarah and I got Rachel's present :D. She'll never guess what it is.

Rachel and Becky keep telling me I'll love my present from them. I wonder what it is.

We haven't put up the Christmas tree yet! We always do it weeks in advance but this year, we moved to Raintree and there isn't much space in our house like back in Mount E.

Sniff.

Oh, yeah. I'm supposed to do the Perth slide show for the Christmas thing.

I don't feel like doing it.

Today we had PSLE English oral!! It wasn't really that bad actually.

The reading passage was okay. The picture was about some robotics competition with two schools competing against each other with their robots.
The conversation was like, "Do you watch any competitions?"
I told them that I once had an inter-school tennis tournament. I sort of made up the story of how it was all my fault that I lost a singles match that made my team fourth place instead of first. But I sort of did, once, but it was doubles, so okay, not entirely my fault.

And then she was like, "So do you watch any competitions on television?" I told them I sometimes watch tennis and football. Then they asked me who were my favourite tennis players (in case I was lying or something) and I said Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. :)
It wasn't great but I think I probably did better than prelims. (which I, by the way, only got 23/30. oh and chinese - worse, 34/50)

Then we had to wait 2 hours before we could go down and it was SO BORING in the Post-Exam room.

Anyway ~

The Perth sports tour is confirmed!!! yay~! ^^
We'll be going to Australia on 10 - 17 November.
According to the letter, we'll be sandboarding, stargazing, visiting Perth's popular sights, viewing native Australian wildlife, staying at a farm, hand-feeding animals, milking cows, shearing sheep, etc.
And we'll also be training with different schools in Perth so it's going to be FUN. But I think they'll be a lot better than us. haha.
During the trip, we will be "building team spirit" and "expanding our sporting experience". :)

Just finished chinese tuition!
We went upstairs to visit Faith today. She's so cute... ^^

Today is 08/08/08! And the Olympics will start at 8.08 pm. :D

Today was Dai Lao Shi's last day in school :( It was so sad. Half her class was crying. And it's teachers' day soon.
She didn't really tell us why she quit. But she did say she wanted to "xiu xi".
She probably only remembers me as "the girl who is way quieter than Joyce".

Anyway, I'd post longer but I have to do work now.

Yes! I finally finished tuition homework. :)

Today was ok. Nothing exciting.

Lao shi was comparing our marks for oral. She always tells the whole class each and every one of our marks.

She spent the whole supplementary focusing on oral, pointing out our mistakes, comparing marks, commenting on the way we spoke and telling us what we should have said. Then we had to write the whole thing out in our exercise books.

But I still don't know my marks yet.

And she also said the worst mark is 30/50. I hope it's not me ^_^

Just came back from oral.

English was OK, but Chinese was super hard. It was about some school fair, with people performing and school history and popcorn and other stuff. I didn't know how to say a lot of things. A LOT.
I forgot how to say "history", "popcorn", some musical instruments, "orchestra" and "golf". I also forgot how to say TALKING ON THE PHONE. The hui hua part was ok I guess.

Okay anyway I'm going swimming now :)

Just came back from church.

We're going to dinner soon. Then we'll visit Aunty Pris' baby again :D

So, they have decided on Faith Elizabeth Loh but I'm not sure if it's final or anything. I think it's quite a nice name :)

oh yeah, and the baby was born 3 hours after my last post :)

It's so cute ^_^ It weighs 2.8 kg (same as me when I was born (: ) and it's so small.

AUNTY PRIS IS HAVING HER BABY! Now. In the hospital.
I mean, she's not giving birth NOW, but but I guess she's in the hospital.

Rachel called up during tuition and Sarah answered the phone, then she was like, "Aunty Pris is giving birth!" Then I'm like, "Now?" Then she's like, "NOW!" And then she gets all excited, jumping around during tuition. Then our tuition teacher asked what was wrong, and I was like, "Wo de aunty xian zai yao give birth." Then Sarah started making funny noises in the room and Ms Sim (tuition teacher) was laughing.

The baby is, like, super early. The due date was actually 18 August but it's early for some reason. I was hoping it'd be 2 weeks late so it could be on my birthday ^_^ but it's 2 weeks early, on my mother's birthday!!

I wonder what they would name the baby. A few months ago, aunty pris asked me to list the names of everyone in my class. She thought Faith and Dawn were nice names, but I have no idea what they are going to name their baby now. The other names they thought of were Chloe, Christian (which is out since the baby is a girl, no offense, but none of us really liked that name so much) and a few others, which were OK.

Anyway I have to eat lunch now :D

Today is my mother's birthday. Yesterday we took her out for dinner at a restaurant called "Grilled Out". The food there was delicious :)

When we went home we watched Step Up 2. It's quite nice I guess.

I just finished packing all the things on my desk :)

Instead of 2 days ago, now we're moving on Monday.

Oh and me and Sarah's desks are done :) I'm going to raintree later so I'm going to take photos :)
And our room is painted purple. When I heard it was, I thought it would be ugly but it's actually quite nice :)

Anyway

There isn't much to talk about.

Coach was so meaaaann on Thursday. He made us run 4 rounds because we lost to another group, which was SO UNFAIR because the other group had BETTER PLAYERS and also the BEST one. But the winners had to run too, except instead of 4, they had to run 2 rounds. :(

Back to school -_- So many things have been changed...

I prefer the 20 min long lessons before instead of the 40 min long lessons that we now have. Now lessons are so loooonngg.

And I prefer the old timetable. Friday is now the worst day :(

First of all, on Friday, there are 3 long periods of chinese (2h). And also Science/Math supplementary after school, which isn't too bad, but of course, I'd rather go home then have it. And also, after supplementary at 4.00, I have tuition at Rachel's house. Chinese tuition.

Oh yeah, and instead of 40 mins for supplementary lessons, it's one hour.

But since supplementary ends at 3.10 (because it now lasts 1h), once I get to Rachel's house, it'll be 3.35, which means I only have 25 minutes (or more because my tuition teacher is always late) to do my tuition homework, which isn't anyone else's fault except mine that I haven't done. But still.

I'm going to raintree now :D

I just had my injection :D
My left arm hurts when I move it.

My mother did the injection for me and Rachel.

it wasn't that bad actually. It was just a sharp pain.
I kept the syringe :)

Our apartment in Raintree is still really messy :)
Unfortunately I can't find the thing to connect my camera to my computer, so I can't upload pictures.
But it's very messy.

We went swimming there yesterday. The spa pool is also nice :) It isn't actually a pool. It's sort of like a hot tub/jacuzzi.

Things I am looking forward to moving to Raintree:
- Raintree is closer to school
- A clean and ant-free house
- The cute little monkeys swinging around (although they can sneak into our house or something)
- The nice pool & spa pool
- My new desk and other nice new furniture :D
- Cleaning up all the junk lying around in our house

Things I will miss moving to Raintree:
- Orchard road (and all the nice shops!)
- Our old house, definitely. We have lived at our current house for 10 years.
- The old stuff that we aren't going to move to Raintree, because there is smaller than here (e.g Dining Table, Desk, Fridge, Stove, Wardrobes, but of course we are going to get new ones)
- The space here. Raintree is smaller

But I'm looking forward to moving to Raintree. it's going to be fun :D

I came back from church camp.

WE'RE MOVING TO RAINTREE NEXT THURSDAY!
I can't wait.

I want to see the dining table, chairs, stools and other things my parents picked.
I hope they're nice.

My exercise plan I have to do for P.E isn't really good. The first week I exercised 3 times for 270 min but the second week I only exercise 1 time for 1 hour. And I doubt I will be exercising this week. Oh except for tennis. maybe.

I stayed in a hotel in Singapore on Monday.
It was reallllyyy nice.
It's called "Ritz Carlton Hotel".
My parents had to sit through a 1 and a half hour talk about some sort of "club" that they wanted people to join. After that they got a free night stay at the hotel :)

My father had to wait 1 hour to get checked in so they upgraded our room :D
to a suite. :D

It had 2 rooms and a really nice bathroom and a dining table and 2 tvs and a sofa.

Hello.

I know I haven't been posting for a long time. So I will. Now.

So... Exams were ok. I've gotten English, Chinese and Math back.

I'm quite happy about my chinese. I got 12 marks more than CA1. But it's still not that good. But I'm happy I improved :D

English - It's worse than CA1. 68 half/95. But I guess it's ok. I guess.

Math - I'm quite satisfied with my marks. I made a really dumb mistake.

The first question for booklet B1 - "Find the product of the first three common factors of 8 and 12."

I mistook factors for multiples.

WRONG
The first 3 common multiples of 8 and 12 are : 24, 48, 72.
24x48x72= 82944

My answer was 82944.

CORRECT
The common factors of 8 and 12 are : 1, 2 and 4
1x2x4= 8

The correct answer was 8.

Rachel got 8 and I got 82944. She thought it was factor and I thought it was multiple. We bet $5. I was so sure. I paid up after asking 3 of my classmates.

Andrea got the same marks as me ;D

Oh yeah, 2 nights ago I killed a frog. That's right.
It was super tempting. I felt a little bad.
It was gross. I can't believe I did it. Not my fault.

Ok. It isn't as bad as it sounds.

We were having dinner. A nice Japanese restaurant. BBQ. Steamboat. it was nice :)

But then, we saw a frog on the grass. underneath a plant pot. It was a perfect trap. I have no idea why a tile was on the pot.

I kicked it down. RACHEL LOY AND SARAH WONG DARED ME TO.

A few minutes later, we saw a few other frogs hopping over the tile. maybe they know.

I hope the frog escaped. And was one of those frogs. I don't think so though. It was dark. night. We didn't see if the frog escaped or not.

I feel bad.

- Population of grasshoppers will increase
- More grass will be eaten
- Population of snakes will decrease
- Eagles will have less snakes to feed on

Hello.

Today was the Social Studies exam. It was ok. But I left 1 blank.

I got my hair cut just now. I hadn't cut my hair for 4 months. Now it's really short.

Anyway, I just saw the plan of our house. You know, where the furniture is placed and other stuff.

We're moving in after exams :)

Yesterday was health ed. I know I got 4 wrong already.

- Turkey, fish and nuts ARE body-building foods. I put false.

- Yes, the sebum (or oil) the pores make DOES make the skin soft.

- It's NOT calories, it's cholesterol.

- No, for boys, the chest, shoulders and arms DO NOT get mature. They get muscular. (At one point I was thinking of manly as a possibility XD)

I think I did badly. I even think I did better for Social Studies.
After all, it is open-book.

Prize presentation was today. Rachel, Carolyn and Michelle ALL broke their trophies. They're all in the same class. How ironic. :S
Mrs Ong sent it back to get new ones. It turns out a lot of the schools have this problem. I still have not broken mine :D

How the trophies broke:

RACHEL: "It's not my fault! It's Michelle's! She took it out of my bag and dropped it on the floor."
CAROLYN: "I was putting it in my bag when the handle broke off."
MICHELLE: "I took out the trophy and the handle broke off. Then the whole thing started breaking apart."

That's why I didn't take my trophy out in class. Mrs Ong did tell us it was very brittle.

I'm going to make another True Friend Test now. It's going to be for family because it's going to be hard.

Today we had zuo wen & compo exam. It was okay.

For english compo I typed 200 words. It was quite short. I chose question 2, which is actually the first one for continuous writing. It's about a car which had a tree that fell on it. And it was raining.
After I finished writing, I was bored so I counted all the "I"s in my compo. I have only 8 "I"s.

Chinese was ok. I chose the second question. I didn't count the words, but I wrote 9 cheng yus. heh.
Just when lao shi said "Stop writing" I realised that I got a word wrong :( I asked her if I could change it, but she said no... :'(

After school I had tuition. yeah.
Anyway, after tuition me & rach played a computer game called Paparazzi. It's quite fun I guess.
Rachel still won't let me announce :(

I came back from PFT.
I failed :(
I got about 125cm for standing broad jump. The passing mark is 129.

I tried Standing Broad Jump, like, 8 times but I either slipped or failed. Now I think I pulled my leg muscles. :(

Anyway, today we had ICAS Science. It was quite hard. Some questions were really easy but most of the were hard.

Yeah, the Junior team got first in their tournament. If you look closely, the trophies hardly look any different. Bronze is on the left, Gold on the right. Gold is just a bit brighter. The nicest colour is silver, but we didn't get it. :)

Came back from oral.

Chinese was so hard :( The teacher is so fierce. I didn't know how to explain some stuff. The passage was not bad but the picture was hard to explain.

English was OK. The picture was so simple. It's a boy throwing up on the ground and a woman helping him up and a receptionist looking and a woman on a bench covering her nose. 4 PEOPLE.
Mrs Quek kept prompting me about how dirty the clinic was and what the receptionist should have done.

Then we got to the conversation part.

Have you ever gotten sick before?
Yes. 2 years ago, I felt nauseous during assembly and asked to go to the toilet. I couldn't throw up, but I looked pale and had a stomach ache. My teacher brought me down to the general office where I called my mother. She brought me home.

What do you think we should do to stay healthy?
I think we should exercise and eat right.

And how would you do that?
I would eat a balanced diet and play tennis.

How often do you play tennis?
I play tennis 3 times a week.

For how long?
1 to 2 hours each time.

Sometimes.

What do you mean by sometimes?
I don't eat vegetables as often, but I eat fruits every day after meals.

Besides physical health, what else can we do to stay healthy?
We can relax more to reduce stress and have enough sleep.

I realised why we had to wait so long for our turn.

Oh, and yes, we lost yesterday.
We played against Haig again. We lost 2-1 again. Rachel won her match again. Except this time, she played doubles, which Haig's isn't that strong in. It was a TERRIBLE line-up. They should have left Rachel in singles. We would sort of have a chance of winning. Nevermind, we're 4th anyway :D

Can't wait till tomorrow! Tomorrow we're not having any match but we have to be linesmen for some matches, then receive our trophies/medals at the award presentation :)

I finally finished my homework.
Today we got our keys to our apartment in Raintree!!
We went inside and it all looked so new and pretty ^^
But we have to wait till after my exams to move... :(
But anyway, it's really nice and I can't wait to move :)
We'll also be buying lots of new furniture & stuff.
Unfortunately I din't bring my camera :(
Entering the house is so cool. You just put a little rectangular puffy thing (smth like a key) at a "sensor" sort of thing. And it makes beepy noises then lets you in. OR you can punch in a code. You just slide open a thingy and punch in the numbers and slide back the thingy and it will automatically open!!
And instead of locking it by turning the thingy at the door, you can press a small button for the door to open/close. It's so cool :)

Anyway I can't wait till tomorrow... We have our semifinals ... We're playing against RGS. They're really good. They beat us last year. We don't know if we can win. But even if we don't, we still can get 3rd or 4th place :) which means win or lose, we'll still each get a trophy/medal. I'm bringing my camera tomorrow so that I can take pics of us playing :D

My tagboard is so dead. And the quiz thingy too. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE TAG & DO MY QUIZ?
I think I'm going to make a new one. tomorrow. if i have time.

Hi... We played against Haig Girls' today and lost :(
But it was expected anyway.
I played singles because they were thinking of a strategy to beat them. Unfortunately it failed.
I played against a really good player from Haig called Joy. She beat Geraldine last year so obviously she would beat me. But I was quite happy to win 1 game.
Lizzie & Carolyn played doubles but they lost :( very close though. 6-4. If they won, we could have won against Haig Girls'. But we will be going to the semi finals anyway.
Rachel played 2nd singles & beat her opponent flat. It so happened that Haig Girls' were thinking of a strategy to beat us. They let a good player play in doubles and let a bad player play in singles. They knew Joy would win, and that the doubles would win too so if the bad player loses singles it doesn't really matter because they would have won against us anyway.

1st singles - me LOST 6-1
doubles - Lizzie & Carolyn LOST 6-4
2nd singles - Rachel WON 6-0

I just came back from tennis tournament.
We won against Rulang Primary.

1st singles - Rachel, 6-0
Doubles - Elizabeth & Michelle, 6-1
2nd singles - Carolyn, 6-1

I didn't get to play :(
But I may play on Thursday.

Anyway, you know that match Carolyn has not finished? (The one against SACPS)
We're doing it on Friday. That means ALL of us have to go for it. It's just 1 match and we already won anyway. Why can't only Carolyn go, without the entire team coming along?
Good thing is that we'll get to skip 2 periods of school & supplementary :)

I just realised that sarah has a lot more trophies & medals than me.
She's got, like, 10 trophies and 2 medals.
I've got 3 trophies & 1 medal.
But for the tennis tournament it's confirmed that we're going to be in the top 4, so we're going to get either a medal or a trophy :)

HAPPY APRIL FOOLS!

I haven't been posting in a while. I have some pictures of Little India & Dai Lao Shi's Wedding which I will share in the next post (:

I didn't really fool anyone today. I thought it would be mean :(
But Carolyn is exceptional. :)
me & rach tricked her.
And she still believes it.
I'm not going to type it here, just in case she sees.
hahahhh carolyn is really gullible.

One time she believed I was going to US for 4 weeks and would skip school. ^^
But I was just going to go to Malaysia for 4 days and skip 1 day of school.
Me & rachel <3>Tennis was boring because it was raining & we couldn't play.
So we spent some time doing physical training. A lot of physical training.

My coaches make us do so much exercising.
At least they're better than our old coach. "Timothy Woodford Tan". *snickers*.
He makes us do a LOT more phys training.

One day we found out his middle name. It was last year. We were at school, about to leave for a tennis tournament when we looked into a file full of information about the match and stuff like that.
It said something like:
"Name of Coach: Timothy Woodford"
We had no idea who that was.

During training we asked him what his middle name was.

"What's your middle name?" we ask.
"Why do you want to know?"
*awkward silence*
He whispers, "Woodford."
HAHAHAAHAHAHAAAAA

But Woodford can be OK sometimes.
One day was really weird. He was super nice. I have no idea why.

He bought us all, about 10 PEOPLE, McDonald's. MCDONALDS.
Ok let me explain.

On that day, there was some sort of "special event". I don't know what it was, but because of that "special event", all the stalls in the canteen were closed.
That meant that we didn't have any lunch to eat.
SO, Carolyn's mother oh so kindly bought KFC for us. We had to wait for her to come to school.

That made us 20 min late for tennis. We told Woodford we were going to be late and somehow he was OK with it.

But when we got the KFC, it was quite little. We brought it to the tennis place and Woodford forced us to share it with everyone.
Ok, so we did.
And everyone was still hungry anyway.
So, he bought, like, 10 packets of nuggets & mcwings, also some fries. :)
That was the best tennis training day ever. We even skipped physical training.

But that doesn't really make him nice.

But this year the juniors have him as a coach, but us, the seniors have a new coach.

WE WON! I played doubles again with Elizabeth. Carolyn & Rachel played singles again.

1st singles - RACHEL won 6-0
doubles - ME & ELIZABETH won 6-1
2nd singles - CAROLYN got postponed due to the rain.

Yeah, so Carolyn's match was postponed but we won 3 games already so we already won. It's so useless going to CCAB or whatever place we would be going to just to play the rest of Carolyn's match. I mean, we'll win anyway...

So during match the worst part was that after I served, my cap flew off my head, which was so embarrassing.

Anyway, we're quite sure we'll get into the semi finals. That means we're top 4. yay.

Back from tennis training.
Andrea was high today. And crazy over my markers.She's crazy over some person called bink. She writes "bink said boo" on almost everything. Some storybook character...

We painted a rock silver with the markers. Hehhhhh ^_^ wasting ink T_T
Class was really boring. Especially Chinese & Science.
So we (ME, ANDREA, DAWN) spent some time drawing :)

A few weeks ago, Mrs Tham (music teacher) was in class with us and she made us play a game where each person had to say 1 word to form a story. We played it with the whole class.
The "the" before the "arcade" was the word i said.
I wrote the whole story down on a piece of paper.

Yeah. Anyway.

I mentioned so many times I couldn't wait for March:
- ~~SPEX TOURNAMENT~~ - we lost the second round. geraldine & lizzie emerged as champions!!!
- SCHOOL TOURNAMENT - half way through! We have a feeling we'll get at least fourth place :)
- MOVING TO RAINTREE - Not yet, but most likely in April
- DAI LAO SHI'S WEDDING - this Saturday! YAY. I have nothing to wear...

School tournament & moving to Raintree will be finished/done in April.

I just played Mathletics. It's quite fun.

Came back from zuo wen ban
Zuo wen ban was boring. Me & Rachel played with my markers the whole way through.
Every week my zuo wen marks increase. I have a feeling she purposely made it increase in a way to show our parents that the class helped. My zuo wens were all about the same. I rose from 20 to 28 the past weeks of zuo wen ban.
I know I have not posted in a few days so I'm going to write it all down.

FRIDAY
- Went for 9am Good Friday service at church
- Had lunch with Kristy (McDonald's!)
- Watched Horton (It's quite funny. It's about an elephant protecting a piece of dust that has a world living on it, which sounds like it's a dumb movie but it's not really.)
- Had tuition at Rachel's house (boring -_-)
- Had dinner at Rachel's house
- Played tennis

I came back from tennis tournament.
We won all matches. Against Marymount Convent.

1st singles - Rachel WON 6-0
2nd singles - Carolyn WON 6-0
Doubles - Lizzie & Me WON 6-2

Um, Marymount wasn't that good. They were quite bad.
Next Thursday we're going to play against SACPS. St. Anthony Canossian Primary School.
Then next next Monday we're playing against Rulang Primary School.
Then next next Thurday we're playing Haig Girls', which we most likely would lose to, but if we win at least 3 other schools we'll get into the finals. Which I hope will be Marymount, SACPS & Rulang.
SACPS is OK. But I think we can beat them.
Rulang is... worse than Marymount. So I'm quite sure we'll win.

I'm going to make a "True Friend" quiz now.

After tennis I went to Rachel's house. Then she had science tuition. I played with their iMac for a while with Becky.
Anyway it's late and I have to sleep now.

I didn't post yesterday because I was busy the whole day memorizing 2 pages of the chinese oral thing. Which we didn't do today.

SUNDAY
I skipped service to memorize the chinese thing. It took so long. In 2 hours, I didn't even memorize half of it yet.
Ate lunch. The food was nice.

Nasi Lemak! ^_^

Then we went for jym. Sarah was 1 out of the 3 people who was chosen to share their experience in the camp.
After jym I went home and spent all night doing the memorizing thing.
It had been 26 days since I pierced my ears, so I took my earrings out. It really hurt and they bled a little. I put new ones in.

TODAY
After school I had zuo wen ban and it was boring. Rachel & I were talking and drawing the whole way. And Elizabeth sneaked into class again XD
Yeah so nothing interesting happened later.

I decided to post now. my 40th post! :P
Yesterday me & Carolyn played in spex. we lost 9-7. Which was very close.
That was the second round. We won the first one. yay. We won the first one against rank THREE. 9-0.
That was weird. we so thought we were going to lose. but we won 9-0.

Anyway, I have to talk about JYM camp.

1st day-
2h trip to Malaysia. We reached Kota Tinggi at about 12 pm. About 40 people came.

My group was called AGAPE. Our room no. was 209.Room key
Our room was quite nice.

There were 2 beds and 4 mattresses.My mattressMy luggage
Toilet

Had lunch, then went for the waterfall expedition. Too bad I didn't bring my camera.
We walked on a road for 40 minutes to reach the place where we'd start our hike.
It was really hard. You have to climb on rocks & walk past rivers. It rained a lot. After 4 hours of continuous walking, we finally got to the Kota Tinggi waterfall. Then we had to go back the same way.
We had no idea what was going to happen to us later.
Imagine sleeping in a forest, a muddy forest with absolutely no sleeping bags or tents, except your dirty wet raincoat. Now imagine pitch black darkness, Mosquitoes. Imagine having no light except for small torches. It's super cold. So cold you need to go to the toilet 5 times. And imagine how you go to the toilet. You don't have food for 10 hours.

That's what we experienced that night. We hiked for around 5 to 6 hours till we reached a point where it was dark and currents were too strong. We couldn't cross the river, it would have been too risky. So we prayed and sang songs.
We stayed there overnight. I didn't and couldn't sleep at all. I stayed up for 10 hours. With nothing but our ponchos and raincoats.

I spent my time there sitting on the muddy ground, using the "toilet", walking around, staring in blank space, spraying insect repellent. It was so boring.

At around 3 am, the instructors tried to make a fire. They burnt everything they had - plasters, bandages, cotton wool, raisin boxes. The leaves were too wet to burn. The fire didn't last for a long time.
After the fire, I didn't want to sit down anymore. I just stood up and walked around. A lot of people were talking.
2nd day-
Everyone was SO GLAD when sunrise arrived at 7. It was a lot brighter.
We continued on our journey back, crossing 4 rivers and hiking all the way back. I got a few cuts when I fell crossing a rocky river. Unfortunately the instructors burnt all their plasters the previous night, so they didn't have any for me.

When we reached the end of the trail, we got chocolate milk :).

It was so nice bathing. Except the toilet smelled terrible before we even used it.
Then we had breakfast. The milo was so nice.
After that we went back to out room and I was so sleepy I fell asleep.
I slept for 6 hours. From 10 am to 4 pm. I skipped lunch.
At 4.30 we had a reflection of our previous day. Then we had dinner. it was delicious :)

After dinner we had the camp fire. That was fun.

We sang songs and played games.
When we went back we had supper. I drank 5 cups of milo cos it was so nice.

When we went back to our room it was about 12. We stayed up for 2 hours talking and eating a lot of snacks.

Then I slept. I had 5 and half hours of sleep.

We woke up at 8 to do some morning exercise.
Then we had breakfast.
We packed up, boarded the bus and went home.
We reached Singapore at about 4.
Oh yeah. I had the second round of the spex tournament at 5. So we barely made it.

English exam... It wasn't that bad. Except I spelled privilege wrongly (privilage).

Started making Rachel's present... which was the main reason why I haven't posted in a long time.

Tuesday
Chinese exam. It was quite OK, except for the questions where you have to choose which sentence :(
Had tennis, same thing, which was tiring.

Wednesday
No exam today :) Although I like exams :(
Prefects installation. Rachel didn't even notice me. I waved at her but she was waving at someone else but I thought she was waving at me and she pointed at me to tell her friend on stage it was me and I thought she was pointing at me but she was actually pointing at someone else...
Then she told me she only saw me when we were singing the hymn.
Skipped tennis at sicc. Rachel was sad :(. I didn't want to go anyway :).
Anything else happened on Wednesday? . . . . . . . . . . no.

Thursday
Math exam. I managed to finish it last minute :). But I had no time to check :(. But I can't wait to get it back :). But I have to wait till Monday :(.
I finally figured the last question out with guess & check. A lot of people got 26 & 130 for their answer so I think I got it correct :)
During recess Mrs Quek scolded us for walking along the Secondary classes. :( we forgot ~

Friday
29 feb... too bad I didn't post on this day. I only get to post on it once in four years.
School, tution, blablabla
Swensens was the funnest part. We went to the Swensens at IMM. The food there was delicious. I had BBQ chicken and chicken cutlet. For dessert I had chocolate :) they ran out of sticky chewy chocolate :(
Then we shopped a little at IMM, and went home.

Today
Woke up, finished my homework, ate a croissant...
Now, Sarah is cleaning stuff in the cupboard.

I don't know why she wants to so much.

tennis today was sooo tiring.
I played against Rachel and it was soooo close... We played until 3 all then she won the tie-break 7-5. That was very close :(
then I played against Michelle and won. :D That was the only game I won.
So out of 6 people: Nikki, Elizabeth, Carolyn, Geraldine, Rachel and Michelle
I won against Michelle and lost to the rest.
I have a feeling I won't be playing for the tournament. But at least I'll be reserve.

YAY i didn't fail ting xie. But I didn't get too good marks either. I studied the wrong ting xie yesterday so It's quite good that I didn't fail :)

today we had the workout thing that was so funny XD everyone was laughing and looking at each other. I forgot to wear PE attire :(

i caught a really cute yellow ladybug this morning. it was so cuteee ^_^
but before zuo wen class i took it out because i wanted it to crawl on my hand, and it flew out the door :( it never did that before. it normally crawls on my hand without flying :(

During zuo wen class our chu lao shi handed out the zuo wens she marked last last week. she arranged it from best to worst. I was ~~last~~.
hey, it's not my fault she marks really strictly. the highest was 28. that's what i normally get...

i JUST realised i've been going to school for the past week with toe nail polish. good thing we didnt have to take of our shoes or anything like that.

The total defence talk was boring. I guess it was quite interesting at some points... sort of. Mrs Quek & Lao shi found it very interesting. and touching. ummm i guess a little touching.

During the talk he said that Mr David can handle and load guns, whatever he really meant. I didn't get it. How did he know him anyway.

We have to write a journal entry in our journal books about it. Topic: What can you do for your country?
What do I write? So far, I wrote: I think every citizen of Singapore, whatever age or size, can play a part in defending Singapore.

Sarah changes her word. my mother gets a cloth from the kitchen and wets it. she wipes sarah's computer screen and then wipes mine. I can't see my post properly as my screen is wet.

After ice-skating we shopped!
but we didn't have much time so we only shopped a little.

Sarah only goes to nice, clean toiletsthat convinced them both that the toilet was nice. really nice.

it wasn't that great. it was like a normal toilet.
And a squatting one.
2 RM wasted.
Janna got angry at the people who wasted her money. took her revenge.
she wasted lots of toilet paper by shoving it down the toilet.

Then we went SHOPPING!!

Had to go home. Saddd :(

Ate breakfast, enjoyed my sausage :)... until i realised it was cheese. (yes, i hate cheese. and a lot of other things too.)

Then we ate lunch at little penang kafethen had baskin robbins chocolate ice cream

We drove home.

today was my first day of JYM.

it was also the last day me & kristy did memory verse & powerpoint.

unfortunately the first time we printed it out it was a bit oversized -_-

Anyway, after we printed out smaller copies, we went up to my father's office.

That's probably the place we go most often.

For lunch, we had chicken wings :)

When SPK started, they said goodbye to all the p6s and we went to JYM.

The room was very dark. Then a few minutes later, from the back door half of JYM came in bursting and throwing balloons in holding a big sign "Welcome to JYM!"

Then they gave all the p6s a handmade bookmark.

JYM was quite fun. My group is called "Oak". All groups are named after trees found in the bible. Such as "Sycamore" "Maple" "Acacia" "Myrtle" and a few more. Sarah is in Acacia. Kristy is in Myrtle.

After JYM, they were selling a Manga book called "Manga Messiah". A manga book about the new testament.

came back from p6 welcome dinner. it was fun :) BTW if you dont know what the p6 welcome dinner is, it is to welcome all the p6s in my church to JYM (Jesus Youth ministry), from Sunday school. Since I'm p6, i no longer go to Sunday school. From tomorrow onwards i am going to JYM.

First we played some games with the jymmers and the p6s. That was fun :D
Then we had dinner.

I just realised i have guitar lesson today and my teacher asked us to remember something that he is going to test us. im dead Xlthat's my guitar next to the tv. Isnt it pretty :)? It looks like an electric guitar. which its not. it just looks like one.Me, Rachel & Becky play guitar.
I play acoustic guitar, rachel plays classical and becky plays electric. during christmas, the cousins and 2nd cousins (lims, loys, wongs, choos...) form a band - me, rach and becks on the guitar, sarah on piano, dana on drums, ian on the keyboard and the smaller boys play maracas and stuff. It was really fun. we played christmas songs.

oh, and outside in the swimming pool, we found a frog. it hopped under the bushes and we has no idea where it was. the boys use water guns to make it hop out. over 15 minutes they still think the frog is under the bushes. we girls just sit at a bench swing and watch them go crazy shooting water everywhere.

Anyway I have to eat lunch now :)

at rachel's house i ate flour biscuits which were really nice :)
I absolutely love them :). they were at rachel's house (which was where i had my tuition), and she let me have a whole jar :D.

Oh, and speaking of Rachel, she's a prefect! I guess someone probably quit being one and rachel is taking her place. I can't imagine her with a tie.

just came back from tennis. not so tiring today. Me & Rachel beat everyone!!! :D We doubled up and played against Geraldine & Lizzie and Carolyn & Michelle. for Carolyn and Michelle's sake, I won't tell you their score.

I just spent ages trying to get something off the ceiling. It's this jelly-like thing that sticks onto anything : glass, wood, plastic. And I just found out it sticks on the ceiling too. Ask me why I stuck it on the ceiling? Accidentally. I threw it up and it got stuck a few days ago. Never bothered to take it out. The consequences are stains on the ceiling and quite some time to take it down.

So, I climbed on a stool and tried to use something to get it out.

First attempt: drumstick

No. It didn't help at all.

Second attempt: RulerThat didn't help either.

I finally used kitchen tongs.Success!
Now three more to go:Wasn't it smart, flinging three more up for fun that day.

Ok, I've learnt my lesson: Never fling anything that is sticky up to the ceiling.
Everyone should learn that in case in the future you do something like that.

Those jelly-like things feel nice, so I put one on my mouse :).

It's white, so it's not very visible.

Anyway my break's over.

supplementary class was boring :(. it was hard too.

my desk is really cluttered now.Yes, that's how cluttered it is.

we're moving to RainTree in march. i'm going to miss orchard road T_T.
and my house of course. but i think i'll miss orchard road more.

but i cant wait to move!!!

It's under construction but we'll be able to move in by march.
Looks nice, doesn't it? the only thing i'm sad about is packing. there'll be major packing next month.
oh, and Elizabeth Towers (yes, that's our house) is going en-bloc.
They will knock it down and build a new condo with a new name. I read it in the newspapers long time ago. It's new name is something to do with "palace".

just came back from tennis. We only played tennis for 45 minutes. that's because it was raining. :(

My father bought Adobe PhotoShop Elements and I edited some of my pictures.

A simple example of what I did with photoshop:that's ME.

Yeah, it's kind of simple but if you click on it and look at it bigger, I filtered it with "Angled Strokes"

You can also do other things to your photo, like add hair, glasses or clothes. that was fun.

hello. I havent posted in a week.

Yesterday we had my grandma's birthday dinner. it was really delicious. unfortunately i forgot to bring my camera.

Rachel & I finished the iPhoto thingy last Monday. It was REALLY fun. I'm not sure if I'm able to upload the video. It's going to take a LONG time. Some parts are quite weird. -_-

Anyway, while waiting for it to upload, I'm going to talk about last week.

MONDAY

- Did the iPhoto thing with Rachel.
Yeah... Monday wasn't so exciting.

- Tennis CCA. Tiring, as usual. Forgot to bring my tennis shoes. Fortunately the coaches didn't notice.

- Ate lunch (crispy noodles).
- Printed PowerPoint & Memory Verse with Kristy (PowerPoint means the point of the lesson in Sunday school and Memory Verse is a verse from the bible that relates to the lesson. Every person in Sunday School gets a paper with PowerPoint and Memory Verse on it. Me and Kristy are in charge of printing it out. Yes, I have not gone to Youth Ministry yet. I will in February.).

just came back from school. there was the boring leadership programme after school. oh and i'm a kinesthetic learner. (you wont understand unless you took the course)

Mrs Chong, my ex-teacher from last year, made an iPhoto presentation about 5.4 last year. she saved it in 39 discs (number of people in 5.4 '07).
I watched it on my TV and took some pictures of it on my tv. most are the pictures which I am in. :D

We were giving out golden ribbons for the cancer awareness. I was laughing. :D

I came back from tennis.
It was terrible. Although we hardly did any physical training. I'm quite tanned now, but as usual, it probably will go lighter again.

I'm going to post about Janna & Japhia (my cousins that live in Malaysia) coming to Singapore few weeks ago.

When they came, they joined us in our church's 30th Anniversary Dinner. The theme was the 70's, so we all had to come dressed in the 70's.

Hello. I'm bored so I decided to talk about school this year.

I'm in 6.4 and my teachers are:
Form - Mrs Grace Quek (also Math, English, Art and Social Studies)
Science - Mr David
Chinese - Lin (Or ling?) lao shi
P.E & Health Ed - Mrs Jean Lee
Music - Mrs Tham

Yeah... Most of them are OK, but they can be strict sometimes.

Positive thoughts about school this year:
- recess is 10 minutes longer than last year.
- lessons are only 20 mins long, so boring subjects (e.g. social studies, health ed) last only 20 minutes
- I have quite nice teachers
- I'm in all of my good friends' class (mostly because 70% of 6.4 has girls that come from 5.4, my previous class)
- I'm P6, which means all the lower primaries will look up to us. :D
- Tennis senior team!

Negative thoughts about school this year:
- school ends at 1.40 on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- since school ends at 1.40 on Tuesdays, tennis starts at 2.00. That means we have 20 minutes to eat and get ready.
- PSLE this year. Which means more studying, more test papers, more pressure. I'm aiming for at least 240...
- Chinese is really hard this year...
- I don't want to go to health checkup.
- I don't want to be injected.
- Sarah forcing me to wake up earlier than last year

So as you can see, there are 6 positive thoughts and 7 negative.
So it's slightly leaning towards the bad side.

SO, Rachel is pestering me to do the photo sharing thing on MSN so I gtg.

I decided to make a new blog... :D

Yesterday we went to the Esplanade to see our church member in the musical "BeautyWorld". She acted as the supposedly evil cabaret girl who doesn't like Ivy (the main character).

"BeautyWorld" is about an innocent young girl (19 years old) called Ivy who is an orphan. Her father left her a jade pendant with an address of a cabaret called "BeautyWorld" engraved at the back. She goes to the cabaret and applies for a job as a cabaret girl, hoping to find out who her real parents are.
In the end, she does find out who her parents are but it's also quite sad.

I don't have any photos of the musical because they didn't allow photography. :(
