I haven't posted in months, but I just felt like starting again now.

I changed back to my old blog skin. Yeah.

Christmas is coming!
We (me, Sarah, Rachel, Becky) went Christmas shopping yesterday! Although we didn't get many things. But Sarah and I got Rachel's present :D. She'll never guess what it is.

Rachel and Becky keep telling me I'll love my present from them. I wonder what it is.

We haven't put up the Christmas tree yet! We always do it weeks in advance but this year, we moved to Raintree and there isn't much space in our house like back in Mount E.

Sniff.

Oh, yeah. I'm supposed to do the Perth slide show for the Christmas thing.

I don't feel like doing it.

Can you do it, Rachel? Please? :)

I know I haven't been posting in a LONG time :D
and I have my reasons.

But I don't have time now so I will post later. Or tomorrow. Or some time after that.

Today we had PSLE English oral!! It wasn't really that bad actually.

The reading passage was okay. The picture was about some robotics competition with two schools competing against each other with their robots.
The conversation was like, "Do you watch any competitions?"
I told them that I once had an inter-school tennis tournament. I sort of made up the story of how it was all my fault that I lost a singles match that made my team fourth place instead of first. But I sort of did, once, but it was doubles, so okay, not entirely my fault.

And then she was like, "So do you watch any competitions on television?" I told them I sometimes watch tennis and football. Then they asked me who were my favourite tennis players (in case I was lying or something) and I said Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. :)
It wasn't great but I think I probably did better than prelims. (which I, by the way, only got 23/30. oh and chinese - worse, 34/50)

Then we had to wait 2 hours before we could go down and it was SO BORING in the Post-Exam room.

Anyway ~

The Perth sports tour is confirmed!!! yay~! ^^
We'll be going to Australia on 10 - 17 November.
According to the letter, we'll be sandboarding, stargazing, visiting Perth's popular sights, viewing native Australian wildlife, staying at a farm, hand-feeding animals, milking cows, shearing sheep, etc.
And we'll also be training with different schools in Perth so it's going to be FUN. But I think they'll be a lot better than us. haha.
During the trip, we will be "building team spirit" and "expanding our sporting experience". :)


Just finished chinese tuition!
We went upstairs to visit Faith today. She's so cute... ^^

Today is 08/08/08! And the Olympics will start at 8.08 pm. :D

Today was Dai Lao Shi's last day in school :( It was so sad. Half her class was crying. And it's teachers' day soon.
She didn't really tell us why she quit. But she did say she wanted to "xiu xi".
She probably only remembers me as "the girl who is way quieter than Joyce".

Anyway, I'd post longer but I have to do work now.


Yes! I finally finished tuition homework. :)


But I still don't know my marks yet.





Just came back from oral.

English was OK, but Chinese was super hard. It was about some school fair, with people performing and school history and popcorn and other stuff. I didn't know how to say a lot of things. A LOT.
I forgot how to say "history", "popcorn", some musical instruments, "orchestra" and "golf". I also forgot how to say TALKING ON THE PHONE. The hui hua part was ok I guess.

Okay anyway I'm going swimming now :)



oh yeah, and the baby was born 3 hours after my last post :)

Oh and in the hospital there was this brochure for some baby photo taking card thing and Sarah (if you read it in her blog) used to be the baby in front of the brochure. But she got replaced with some ugly (according to Sarah) baby. How sad.


Anyway, we have to go for dinner now
